dang at least she's able to still live but i'd feel like i'd wanna go to a shrine/monastery even if it doesn't necessarily help as much b/c hopefully the monks would believe you at least (tho i half expect some ppl who sees spirits, commit suicide b/c of going crazy due to them would be stuck in the after life with them too)

So Katou's the last guy who was seen with Otomi. And at the time he left Otomi's brother said that he didn't trust Katou with her. And prior to that he identified Katou as someone who seemed like he'd be popular with mentally unstable women.

And now that Otomi's missing he's like "Welp, I've got absolutely no leads. Better call in a psychic."

C'mon, Big Bro. I like your shirts, so I'm really hoping that you've got a plan in your back pocket and you aren't actually a complete idiot.

Bro will leave no stone unturned to find his beloved little sister. But you know how it goes, he started feeling lucky, decided to do a few gacha pulls, one thing lead to another and now, well... money's a little tight this month, so this supernatural imouto rescue plan's gonna need to be done on a budget, y'know?

It's good if he's willing as opposed to ending up being selfish bc it could've easily had a short one shot plot like "I don't care if other ppl die, just stick by my side/come to work with me everyday just so I don't die" but, you'd think while this girl has the ability to see spirits to help, with all the 'evil' spirits/darkness stuck to that killer that he'd also feel a 'heaviness' or so (but i guess if they're also 'evil spirits' they probably like the fact that he's killing innocent ppl as opposed to feeding off his hatred and making him eventually slip up and hurting himself or hallucinating to the point where he publicly kills someone in the middle of a crowded city thinking he's in an alleyway

(but other than a 'job offer' i'd still think unless he's too broke he'd offer 8,000 yen to find his sister even if it might be average for like maybe a detective that has nothing to do with the supernatural tho to him she is presumed missing as opposed to 'in danger' so he might think she's gone into hiding/trying to find a place far away to deal with her hearing. Tho the 'i don't trust you with her' was more of the lighthearted coworker teasing or so as opposed to seeing him as 'dangerous' versus the "Hey, don't try to sleep with my sister" kinda thing that you'd see in other animanga plots b/c i'd think unless he's also obsessive to a fault/blind spots he wouldn't be willing to work with some ppl that he thought was really bad as opposed to "off putting/slightly weird b/c they work for a place like this"

But it is interesting that she seems to be still alive/living beings can still 'project' their souls to where this girl can still see them, i guess killing her off would be bad for him versus torturing her/giving her some kinda concussion to where she'd 'forget' or so

I guess it depends on how well you can 'communicate' and if you don't look scary or so b/c some 'kid' might be 'accepting' but an adult who sees a spirit and assumes ur bad might try exorcising you or whatever. tho hopefully no 'bad' doppleganger ghost would be able to imitate your form to trick ppl lol

But at the same time other than being nice or helping a relative/past lover or so, i'd be pretty salty like "i worked my whole life time, i gotta spend the afterlife making sure humans don't make dumb decisions?" xD; But i'm sure something like the ghost cbs show would be entertaining for ppl who are able to socialize and stuff but that's more of a comedy
