First, that detective chick has been watching too much TV. Reffering to someone in past tense only matters when a significant amount of time has passed or they kkow for sure that person is dead.

In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s somehow related to that Anna chick that keeps being mentioned. She had a noticeable reaction when her name was mentioned, maybe she’s trying to cover up for her.

And yeah, that other girl is a bitch. I had my doubts about her from the start. If she was a decent person she wouldn’t have sat back and watched that stuff happen to him in the first place. Now she’s made her move, and even if MC doesn’t do anything that track girl will.
