Of course what did I expect its a japanese manga made specifically for the lowly basement dwelling forever alone unwanted 4ever delusional bottom feeders who are the primary target audience meaning in order to keep the perma-virgins calm and not god nerd rage mode leading to a scathing bad review... the reason these stories never have a proper ending is cause the artist and/or editors/editing company are skeered of upsetting the only ppl on the planet who sadly,pathetically, disgustingly go full blown geekwad ner rage mode in the worst ways doing the only thing weak nuts can whine and cry on forums but not cause of bad story or anything no its completely and utterly due to weird jealousy that a cartoon a made up not real in any way drawn character got more action and further with a chick than all of them combined in multiple lifetimes hence forth bashing the manga or show even lying and saying false crap and and all things to crush the rating all due to their short comings and/or fugly like really fugly appearance and more than not their even wayyyy more disgusting overly degenerate personality (and the wonder why they are destined to be perma-virgins.

It's a good story, written somewhat incompetently. It needed more drama though, it would have been much more satisfying if, along the way, both of the protagonists agonized a bit more before following through with the revenge, the cheaters should have had moments that felt redeeming halfway through and made the protagonists doubt themselves, only to notice that it's just the same old trick and what they really want is each other. The cheaters being just two horrible bastards isn't engaging enough for that to happen.

The story would have some emotional impact if their revenge wasn't only about getting back at the cheaters but affirming their feelings towards each other. I mean It's all already there, the author just wasn't good enough to deliver it.
As it stands it's a 5/10, at least it's short.

You’re really weird.

I mean, I also get bored of the turbo-virgin tropes. But that’s not the only kind of manga that Japanese mangaka make. I’ve read 3 manga within the last few weeks where the MC-kuns were banging everything left and right and virginity/turbo-virgin behavior was not treated as “ideal“ nor were virgin girls put on pedestals above other women. Just like entertainment in other countries, Japanese media has a wide gamut of different kinds of characters with different kinds of morality. Try widening your horizons and reading more kinds of manga.

As for this manga: boring, characters were not terribly interesting, ending was too abrupt and unsatisfying, considering how long the buildup was. 2 or 3 extra chapters to soften the pace of the ending a bit would have helped, like seeing Touko and MC-kun on another date and philosophizing about their experiences a bit more, and seeing some more stuff about other characters.
