I knew Natsuki would be back. I'd hope she doesn't become a love interest yet again, turning this into a harem. The love triangle I'm seeing here is written well enough to be interesting without having to add another girl into the mix.

I hate the trope of saying I like you and then reneging on it with a fake clarification. And then the receiving party talking themselves down.

And this made me really realize there's virtually no harem manga where the sole childhood friend or the equivalent of, wins.

Also glad to see natsuki, shes my 2nd favorite side character with todou, with her interactions and honest talk. Also she does like the mc but i guess she knows she doesnt have a chance with him. Hope we get more of her though.

Im pretty sure mc being friends with Ayaka is no secret, if the ex girlfriend feels uncomfortable with them being so close then she should say so. There's no need for willy wonka maneuver to try to cheat or some shit.
