I'm not sure but the Novel has the Harem and love triangle tag (I'm guessing the triangle is Shinohara and Ayaka) so yeah this is gonna be messy writing wise for sure.

Like a few mentioned, it's weird the Ex waited so long to talk to him claiming it's not cheating. Ch1 starts 1 months post break up, she didn't even say it during said break up...... Plus we get a scene in ch2 where she seems happy about xmas. So yeah I think she's been dumped by the guy she cheated with and trying to get back with MC.
