I kinda liked the MC for not being spineless and generally being mature, but what was that about not explaining things properly? How hard was it to tell her kouhai was just cooking for him 3x a week at home? I guess proper communication between adults is too much to ask, so now they have to deal with misunderstandings to produce some cheap drama.

I don't feel like giving him a pass this time, because he's not a generic MC from one of those usual high school romcoms.

I mainly put the blame on the MC here since he should take the hint and clear the misunderstanding or at least set boundaries within their relationship

And in one sentence on page 17 I went from being generally satisfied with this MC’s temperament and personality to hating him from the depths of my soul, one of (and seemingly your only) best friends since high school just fought with a girl you’ve been getting along with for a month in your own home and you do nothing but pull the “respect your elders” and “it’s not my business” cards?

Maybe everyone saying he deserves death for listening to Ed Sheeran was right, all that talk about becoming an adult and he makes the worst mistake most children make when transitioning into adulthood, pretending not to give a damn, what a clown.
