I know it's not the point of this manga, but there's no way she's starting to breathe hard and sweat after just a few bodyweight squats. Maybe after she is past at least 10 or 20, but definitely not that early. Especially not if she's fit.
that's a nice observation too
mangaka just revealed he's out of shape

You know, in the back of his hind brain he suddenly got SUPER focused. I mean, look at the sheer concentration on his face. His instinct knew what it was doing ... good job.
MC unlocked ultra instinct the moment he heard the punishment

They're both pretty good darts players for people who have seemingly never played it.

Lucky Tamiya though. It's a good thing he was better at darts, he got to see Natsuki squat 30 times! Though I wonder what would have happened if he was the one squatting...

its a stupid game if the center is worth less points than the whatever-he-hit
No, wanting to hit bullseye is actually a common beginner mistake. It's 50 points, yes, but the inner ring triples your points, so if you hit the 17, 18, 19 or 20 columns it's worth more.

yea, explaining how it is doesn't change the part that it's stupid

Bullseye is way easier to hit than the inner ring.
how? the ring segment is much wider. is it harder because the concentric circles are hypnotizing you or something?
besides, difficulty is just one little reason why it's stupid. there are more important reasons, like it just being stupid. purposefully complicated read-the-fine-print rules are obviously more stupid than a simple and obvious "aim here". i don't recall william tell putting an apple tree branch with bonus mini apples and spinners and stupid stuff on people's heads, just a simple single apple, and i don't recall robin hood splitting bonus mini arrows poking to the sides of the main arrow, he just split it right in the middle. so there.

The area to hit is much smaller, that's how. You're the one being hypnotized by the obvious, wide red dot at the center. Don't blame a game because it blindsides you. Most games do.

Um, go look at a picture or something. It's a small dot with radius less than the thickness of the triple point ring. On the other hand, the width of each ring segment is gargantuan compared to it.
Or hell, lets do some actual math. An inner ring segment is 8mm x 33mm = 264mm^2. bullseye radius is 6.35mm so area is 127mm^2...
One real reasons for the triple point ring being worth more is not the difficulty of hitting the region itself, but the lower point value of the nearby regions and thus higher risk if you get a near-miss. The a near-miss on the bullseye is the outer bullseye - 25 points, while a near miss on the 60 is just 20.
Another real reason for the triple point ring and other stupidity of darts rules is adding an element of strategy to the game instead of just leaving it be about accuracy, or in other words just trying to look smart when it's stupid. Thus the stupid people that play it fell for it, while the smart people that wanted strategy in their game were playing chess to begin with.

Pretty unfair game considering she’s like super freaking fit. As someone who started doing squats earlier this year, the difference between doing them when you’re completely untrained and when you’re a couple of months down the line is huuuuuuge. And she’s probably been training actively for years with those abs. 30 squats is like breakfast to her and for him it’d be absolute torture.
