Second, Yoshioka’s been offered the lead role in a film directed by someone who’s worked in AV before, so there’ll probably be some spicy scenes. Her manager’s also worried about the male lead (reread chapter 90).

It’s just shitty storytelling. For some reason, the author likes to keep us in the dark about why Yoshioka makes her choices, and sometimes they don’t even make sense. Like when, after Kaori dumped the MC, Yoshioka and the MC banged for days like rabbits while she kept ignoring her manager’s calls. Then, after seeing the MC get money from the manager to convince her to return to work, Yoshioka suddenly tells him she can’t date him and that he should get back with Kaori. Did she forget that Kaori dumped him? It makes no sense.

Edit: After thinking about it, I think it’s something like this: Yoshioka saw the MC putting in effort and decided to do the same by accepting the lead role in the movie.
