Are they really going to have the boyfriend cheat as the excuse for them to break up? That is literally the only reason an already established couple in stories like this end things, just so the female can move on to the "better" guy without readers getting offended.

She does come off a bit as "I might not really like you that much" or something. Moving on doesn't sound so unrealistic if you ask me.
