Even if it has all her memories, the real Kasumi is dead and always will be. However, even if it's wrong, i kind of understand the state the the two are in to want to make a robot of her, even if it isn't the way they should go about it.

Honestly, this is somewhat believable as far as the trying to revive her through machinery goes (maybe not actually be able to do it but the emotional parts are feasible for the two dudes). I honestly believe the ending will revolve around aka finishing kasumi for the brother or dying shortly beforehand.
