Goddamn. Thank you for the TL work. Truly a hard work.

btw, anyone knows if the manga will end after this arc ?? Or if this is just the beginning of a real manga after the crisis is over.
It'd be weird if it ended after this arc. Chapter 29 just came out recently in JP, volume 7 of the LN came out last month, the LN and Manga were both recently licensed in English, and judging by the chapter titles of the completed WN there's way more story to go.

Can't say it's impossible if viewership/sales in Japan have been poor, I've seen worst things done by publishers, but I see no sign of that so far.

I’ve got no idea what their plan was after kill most of the royal family. There’s still a monster invasion going on and a coup seems inevitable once they can decide on who’s most qualified to be the next king.
I mean, they came up with this plan before they knew there was a monster invasion, right? So they've probably just been sticking to the plan they originally made and refusing to adapt it to these new precarious circumstances.

The original plan was to exile mc so the king would die of natural causes. Meanwhile, the other prince was basically dead already. This is certainly a step up from that. Outright admitting to murdering most of the royal family in a room full of nobles is pretty insane.

The problem with revenge stories is that they're more interesting than the main story with the protagonist. Now that the revenge is settled... now what? Does anyone really think the protagonist will fail to stop the calamity?

So hear me out... instead of execution... why don´t they send every single one of the traitors to the front lines, yes i know, it would mean that they have to go with guards to ensure that they fight and don´t run, buuuut... 2 choices, either try and run through the forest or come back and be killed by any soldier that sees them, even give a reward to the soldier that brings some item of theirs (they are in literally at 0 time left before annihilation, so i guess no one will say anything about that)... have them fight through the incredible pile of catastrophe that they nurtured, besides... they kind of need every able warrior they can gather
You're talking about penal units. And yes, they had minders to make sure they performed their duty and if they didn't, they were executed. This could happen to any of the commoners (any of the complicit staff under the nobles). But we are talking about nobles here and they had privilege (i.e., "private law"), which meant being treated differently. Being stripped of their title and wealth, any other titles or responsibilities, and house arrest/exile to the frontier was usually how it went.

Even if it's actually because of his trauma, the older prince isn't wrong.

This is Philia being sentimental for once, really.
It's completely insane. The protective barrier covering 2/3 of the continent and thus protecting millions(?) of people is keyed on Philia. Worse, the barrier incantation links it to specifically to her life. You cannot risk the lives of all of those people for her to go save her sister. Not to mention that they could send other saints.

Grace can go. Mia and her aunt are already there. They just need to put up the corresponding pillars.

I like how everyone else aside from corrupted noble is competent at their jobs, the only setback is their long illness which led to weak physical.
ong it makes no sense. there's a veneer of good writing over this story and idk why everyone is raving over it.

+gritonia prince guy is the only one speaking sense. the fact any of these other politicians would go along with this hare-brained scheme beats me. revenge stories are good because of political intrigue so to suddenly throw out reasoning, & acknowledge throwing it out, feels almost like a genre shift. boooooo. it should have been written differently.
