Nice

@Baysiri not really, if you want proper romance manga that has realism in it, check a manga that has a tag: seinen-romance or josei-romance or some of shoujo-romance.

@Nunally Josei/shoujo romance and realism, imagine that. 99% of josei is nothing but a shoujo fantasy with older participants. Lol, josei/shoujo and realism. Hahahahaha. That was a good one.

@Nunally
I'm not looking for a romance manga. That's why I was saying that. The setting for this manga isn't something I'd want romance in, which is why I made that comment.

@Istvan90623 Hmm.. not really, some of quality josei manga featured high school students too, example: Bokura no Kiseki (this manga isnt even focus on love and have more 'adult' theme, well not the same as adult but more of a 'knight' way of thinking).
A bit different, most Josei isnt as happy go lucky as shoujo (shoujo need to tone down in some aspect, the same as shounen, Boku no Hero or One Piece will have a different 'feel' if its a seinen (which I actually want to see)), get heavier plot, and some of them is in the level of Danielle Steel books.

@Nunally Bokura no Kiseki is much closer to a seinen tone than a josei, even though it's named one. There's barely any josei out there where the female leads don't fall into a teenage girls mindset over time, or from the beginning (the ones I call shoujos masking themselves as joseis), or where there's actual realicism in it when it comes to a romantic story. They bear the same tropes even if at first look they seems to be different, but to their core, they can't loose the shoujo cliches from them. If it's about realistic romance, the best bet you'll have is a seinen one. There's barely a few josei like that, and it's some kind of a black magic when a shoujo has it.

@Istvan90623 well I think seinen become too generalized as a genre now, so josei is a bit pushed out (I think maybe josei will cease as a genre in the future). Now it just come to where the book is published, if it seinen publisher it will be labeled as seinen, and vice versa.
So its not wrong if you say that Bokura is a seinen and its not wrong too if I said it is a josei.
Oh yeah, some of shoujo masked as josei/seinen too, example: Gakuen Alice, in my opinion the theme is a bit too dark as a shoujo manga.

So they have chosen a more dangerous path just for an adventure even though they need to hurry and the other option has no reason to be turned down.
