@tuatara1 they cant really, Ren and Ruri are like in the 20s level range due to their leveling spree, while Hiroki is like lvl 2 or 3 by now, they will just be slowing them down not to mention noone can see them together for obvious reasons

@Ghekor Yes, you cited the in-universe reasons why they're separated, but I'm talking about the quality of the storytelling. Like I said, I think it would have made for a more interesting story if they were traveling together.

Remember, the author chose to develop the plot in such a fashion that it isn't feasible for them to travel as a group. The narrative roadblocks you mentioned didn't actually have to exist.

@tuatara1 if the 3 traveling together, the story can end fast because: our mc is op already, he is top healer + he can be a tank with avoidance, the only con is he cant level up himself (but with these two heroes with him, he will not have this weakness). Meaning if this happen in just 5 chapter or so, you will basically have a healer who can avoid a demon lord attacks with a top dps behind him. Not to mention the curse, if the story been like that, they will already fighting the demon lord by now..

So their goal is to go home, I just hope that the elf can go with them, together they already become perfect couple & best friend.

@Nunally No they wouldn't fight the demon lord even if they were Op together, those are just the human kings one-sided delusions. But they could have easily met up in the sea dungeon without problems, since the hero is travelling without retainers. That they didn't even consider this is baffling to me. So I agree with @tuatara1.

Two things.
1. Hiroki still has a weakness to status, he should be taking all the skill books until he gets the status effect healing skill
2. Isn’t the only effect of the contract not being able to freely leave the continent? Can’t you just kill the king or do whatever you want on that particular continent?
