I rather like how well-balanced the worldbuilding is. In some isekai manga threats are so huge and prevalent that you wonder how there are any humans, much less cities, still around. In others, it's so easy to make money off of hunting monsters (or treasure from dungeons) that you wonder why anyone would do any other kind of work. This manga is a nice middle-ground. Threats are credible, but can be overcome. The MC can earn a living as an adventurer, but money is still tight, and any windfall goes into the high costs of upgrades. Having different currencies between opposing countries, with an unfavourable exchange rate, is a nice cherry on top.

The demons look exactly the same as humans. In most manga, they have horns so you can tell them apart. If the author decides not to go with horns, I've also seen markings on the skin that look like tattoos, but are a species trait of demons. And the most rare, is that demons are the only ones that can use magic, but look exactly like humans. In this universe, I humans can clearly use magic, so I'm guessing that demons are just better or stronger at it? If you had a world where demons were the only ones able to use magic, that would be one way to tell them apart. But as things stand, how the hell is anyone able to tell a demon and human apart from each other? They seem like they are just normal humans that have been falsely labeled as demons. Hopefully there will be a later plot point to explain this. Otherwise, it's just confusing.

WTF is this writing?

Fairy points out thing that costs 1 million <insert fantasy currency units> as the cheapest thing he sells.

"That's so expensive! We can't afford that."

* 10 seconds later *

"I want that magic bag!"

"Very well, I'll give you a discount to 1 million <insert fantasy currency units>"

"That's so expensive! We can't afford that."
