It's annoying how mc is more concerned with telling people he has put all of his points into evasion rather than telling them he has over 50 in healing. They think he's useless because he allocated poorly, but he just didn't need to put any in healing for it to be more than useful. This is incredibly hard to read, and I hope the author realizes that at some point.

He doesn't even care to invest in STR stats. Why? Because he can just use other people to do the beating. True gamer move.

MC x lusha relationship development is so freaking slow. How foolish you boy, going with simply deredere elf instead with adorable caring mage-chan. Don't worry tina-chan!! MC doesn't deserve you :>

About 60 chapters in, I quite like the maturation of the series so far. It keeps that entertaining element of the evasion skill while also developing a likable cast of supporting characters. So far they fall more on the "good" side; honorable, accountable, reasonable, and even personable, with agency beyond that of the MC's sphere of influence. The overall plot isn't quite there yet so it's weak in that department, but there's one or two foils that serve the purpose well enough and we get some action from time to time. Definitely worth a read.

Could you elaborate where you see maturation of the series? For me it feels the other way around. They keep playing on a palm of incompetent king without much opposition whilst he showed open hostility with which they could lose their life's.
Even behind the mannequin of honorability and accountability some supporting cast are outright disgusting. Let's take that duke for example, while he doesn't demand marriage he still pursues it while he knows the true situation. Or the princes tying up the hero.

The only somewhat good supporting casts was the initial party and demon kingdoms adventurer party that helped with the potion. Others on the other hand had transactional relationship with them while the return to the kingdom arc shows how people despite knowing about hero situation act passively and cover their eyes to the actions of the king. It's akin to knowing that your big brother is beating up your friends but you don't do anything to stop him while playing "house" with your friends as if everything is fine.

This series isn't bad, but it's kinda bland and toothless. Just go read "The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic" if you haven't; it's got a similar premise to this series but is better in every way.

This manga ... while seemingly interesting with it's premise ... it's quite mediocre, and really cringey at times. Most of the characters are super one note without anything interesting about them. They feel like they're caricatures instead of real living people in a story. A lot of the girls are also hyper emotional in this manga for some reason. Like "oh no, I feel so depressed because I feel like I'm holding us back! I better start being really reckless now because I'm not thinking straight" ... all of this over knowing the MC for like less than a week. It feels like an edgy, emotional teenager wrote the characters. Also, going along with ho8w the characters feel one note, like caricatures of characters ... evil characters are comically evil without any nuance or complexity to them. Everyone else are comically nice and good. It's like black and white, none of the characters have any nuance or grey areas to them whatsoever, no real character flaws that make them interesting. The author also really doesn't know the rule of "show, not tell" method of storytelling. Just a hell of a lot of exposition for everything instead of utilizing good storytelling to show how this world operates, or to explain the characters. They'll put it in your face that a character is evil, or a character is good, etc. At best, this manga gets a C, and that's mostly because the art isn't bad.

just why? he is a Priest... Why is he looking for a POTION and not the PRIEST'S PURIFY SKILL??? ( I mean, if he use potion, there is no interest being a priest right?)
It doesn't make any sense...

it feels less like an isekai and more like a jrpg, the mechanics are too literal for my taste, because does this mean that talented people just dont exist? if im an archer and my accuracy is 1 but ive been using the bow my whole life does it just make me INCAPABLE of hitting anything? idk it just seems too gimmicky, like evasion in games is usually a percentage dodge chance but for some reason 51 is the golden number to dodge most things? but not if theres a ton of mobs? so is it quantity or quality of attack that determines the dodge? because we see instances where both affect him

this too, my thoughts were because he mentioned about lacking skills early on and he found out about skill books hed just grind dungeons for more PRIEST (advanced healer job btw) skills, i only read upto chapter 17 but this was simultaneously slow and fast paced, its just bland.

This is what you get when a terrible writer makes a half-baked, copycat story as a shallow device to explain his precious fan-made RPG mechanics. Except he's such a crap writer that the RPG mechanics are half-baked and not really thought out at all outside of the one conceit the story is built around (max evasion).

A lot of the criticism comes from people picking at the mechanics because they're mapping them onto a game or franchise they're familiar with and assuming that it all works the same. That's bad, but it's not as bad as the author just making random stuff up and acting like it applies to all games or failing to think through the logic of his choices.

I said this in a particular chapter comment thread, but the better course of action would've been for the author to base the fantasy world off of a particular, made-up game that the MC is familiar with, only for him to find out that the real version of that world doesn't totally map to the mechanics of the game. That way his info can be correct sometimes when he points some things out, but he won't be infallible.

I don’t hate the rpg mechanic as long as the MC does the level grinding to get stronger, what I hate is it’s the usual pushover Japanese MC.

This manga was pretty ass not gonna lie. It has a romance tag but theres no romance at all, the only girls interested in him are 13 year olds when the main character is 19. The elf kinda likes him but she's so bland has no back story nothing no progression even tho they sleep together in the same tent.

There's no progression in this system the dude starts with lvl 100 healing and then puts all his 50 points into evasion and even when he levels up theres no noticeable difference just keep pumping the evasion stat. He gets skill books but half the time he doesn't even use then or just like omg by the way I have this ability and also I know how to read the language here.

He's really oddly attached to the other characters who were summoned with him as if they were like his best friends or somthing but he met them for like less then an hour and won't stop talking about them and the hero dude gets a curse from some monster and they dont explain it past that. And potions exist to cure it but somehow they live in a complete lavish life style but the king can't get any of these potions??? Oh after all that the Mc learns the ability cure.....ya ok
