1. I think that Kaidou is demisexual, considering she wasn't finding sexual pleasure in touching a woman's body until she realized how it was affecting Yarai. It's interesting and far more complicated than boiling it down to if she likes boys or girls.
2. Consent is complicated, and Kaidou is failing to remember that Yarai doesn't read social cues and unspoken desires very well. Yarai does the right move when told to stop, but it is then up to Kaidou to communicate what she wants and how she feels. I always disliked the, "No actually means yes," nonsense, so talking about it and coming up with a solution, such as an agreed safe word, would be best.
3. I love Yarai as a character. She is open and clear about her feelings and intentions while being aware of her faults. That combined with her strong sense of respect for Kaidou and her boundaries makes her an excellent girlfriend.
4. Please dump the boyfriend asap, as I can somewhat get the "sorting one's feelings out" aspect of the date... But going on after this is morally lacking and disrespectful towards Yarai. (I also wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't cheating already.)
