Indeed. Because her feelings for him are more than just skin deep. Even with hair dyed different, he's still fundamentally the same boy she loves. If Kaoruko ever cuts her long hair at some point, I expect Rintaro to accept her the same way (I hope she doesn't cut it though, not only is it a tired romance cliche, but I also love long hair on girls...)
