I wasn't answering a yes-or-no question; I was denying a flat falsehood on your part (and then I explained why it was false).
You should actually attend to my original comment, and face the fact that
scores of manga use the very same plot device, whereas in the real world, there's a simple fix: “Oops! I ate Makoto's pudding! I'll leave a note, and then run to the store to replace it!”
And, again, lots of comments on MangaDex and elsewhere object to clichés such as that. Few if any other people have responded as you did.
What sort of
brat gets furious when someone objects to cliché? And what sort of person cannot fully admit to responding inappropriately, but has to use quotation marks to suggest that he didn't
really react as he did?
