Fuck you, Narumi.

I can understand you not having feelings for her anymore, but your brain isn't so rotten that excuses this shit behavior.

I have to say I don't like this particular direction, not anymore at least, at the start I understood and even accepted Fujita-sensei's decision with Narumi, but LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has info on who Eleonore is, said... she.is.not.to.BLAME.

When an author makes a character still act like an asshole after all this... it kinda grates my nerves, even stupidity has to have narrative consistency.

I can agree to a degree with you, but I also think that for Narumi, there's a lot more that he bears than everyone else. He feels the weight of every single Shirogane's death, of the children he's seen. He can't forgive not because she's not the blame, but in forgiving her, he forgoes everything he's held onto, that makes him who he is. And at this point, I think he feels there is nothing left for him once he finishes that.

He's said he'll become a demon for the kids so someday they will smile for him, or smile in general. He has forgone his entire existence for everyone suffering. And in doing that he is unable to be anyone but a vessel for all of the hate, the grief, the anger
