@boldmonkey Not to mention that repeating wrong things doesn't sound convincing either. If you want to be the best at a specific sport (or any activity for that matter) it's recommended that you train in the specific rules of that sport, and not whatever other crap you can think of. It can be useful to familiarize yourself with other styles/rulesets, but ultimately if you want to get very good at something, you need to practice that something. This is not only supported by logic and research, but also by statistical evidence. But for an over the top fighting manga I guess that anything goes.
