^ This is definitely one of my biggest pet peeves with manga logic (or maybe Japanese culture, who knows). So often, it seems to be taken for granted that every single man is a rapist, pretty much. She says that if a drunk guy and a girl is alone at his house, it's IMPOSSIBLE for sex not to happen. Like, yeah, maybe it increases the likelihood compared to if they're elsewhere or if the guy is not drunk, and maybe there's a certain type of man that would try something in that situation, but she's saying EVERY man would do it. And this same trope shows up over and over in manga. It's annoying because it almost makes it seem as if it's outside of a man's control that he commits sexual assault or something. Which is certainly not the fucking case.

New characters! Kazuma has an admirer that we weren't aware of before and it looks as if Haruna is going to come to her rescue. I reckon we're going to be seeing more of the Gyaru too...

Yeah unfortunately this trope is not limited to manga or even Japan. Where I live there is a problem of "well he's a man what can you do? He can't help it" When it comes to sexual assault perpetrated by men against women.

On the flipside this also gets used to dismiss men when they get assaulted because of course they want sex all the time from anyone.

As a result everyone is miserable and no one gets punished for sexual assault.



These attitudes are changing for the better but they still hurt plenty of people every day.
