If she was feeling less charitable, she could have just poisoned them all, huh?
Well, this is more productive and has less risk of consequences, I guess.

It sure is liberating when your MC is happily willing to resort to "villain" tactics.

The poor prince is at the bottom affection level thanks to his first impression on her.

She's a such good girl. get out of her bedtime, to listen to old man one sided venting

and all she does is just simply asking them "nicely" to forgive her. she even taking care of his grandchild while he's taking an afternoon nap too.

joking aside, this scale is no longer "playing villianese" , my girl. you're a proper one now :v

Bro yelling coward when they were ganging up on a 10 years old 💀
Fucking folded like a folding chair after church and changed his tune right quick. Its incredible bro could even walk upright with no fuckin' spine. :kek:

Holy shit my girl turned from villainess to straight up terrorist.
Shes just one magical AK-47 from a full on terrorist lawfully armed insurgency freedom fighter.

Honestly, Count Monocle is actually pretty pathetic.

A real criminal mastermind who lauds his own genius and ruthlessness wouldn't have a weakness in something like a family member's safety.

He should be fortunate Mythia wouldn't actually harm a (presumably) innocent child like he would.
But he also shouldn't be even showing emotion over something like that if he was really worth his salt, so I can't even respect the bastard on that side at this point.

I'm sure she's actually going to treat the granddaughter very well, but it would be pretty metal if the MC was truly willing to go as far as she's implying. :meguusmug:
'Tis Time for Torture, Princess Priscilla! For our first torture session, you will... eat this bowl of friendship cookies!

For all he knew, he was just sentencing an uppity defenseless and talentless kid to death, and had the assassination attempt succeeded, she would never even reach his territory, meaning there's no reason for him to even think his family members could be harmed. And Mythia did say she's going to 'return the favor' and that probably made him think she would actually do terrible things to her granddaughter which caused him to panic even more.

I mean poisoning them is pretty stupid aswell like just think you walked in a council with 50 to 60 members than came out being the only one alive so you become suspect immidiately. And well killing so many noble house leaders together will incur wrath of so many households at once isolating her further and well keeping them alive as puppets is more profitable in long term.

My primary point is that he's being painted as this ruthless criminal mastermind eugenicist who looks down on anyone he thinks is beneath him, and that he's a heartless genius seeking power and control.
If he though Mythia was "an uppity defenseless and talentless kid", then he's not nearly as intelligent as he thinks he is, to not spend any time looking into her to gauge her actual abilities and potential.
That, and he really shouldn't have any weaknesses that could be exploited, if he wants to stay in his position. And that includes things like the safety of family members. The fact that he could be visibly shaken by the fact his granddaughter was captured, and even at the threat of potential harm coming her way, says he lacks the conviction to carry out his schemes, if that can sway him.

It's understandable that it could for most people, but he's self-styling as some omnipotent bastard who'll scheme and crush anyone in his way. Him suddenly freaking out because another person is captured diminishes that greatly.
It humanizes him, but all I'm saying is that it also just makes him a coward and greatly undercuts whatever prestige he was building for himself, and makes him pathetic. A real bastard antagonist wouldn't let the death of a family member dissuade them from caving on their goals/ideals.
