9/10 reread this after 10 years, still good as the first time . But I found that its pretty annoying when Karin was crying so much. I mean she's like, fking cries all the time and I feel like all she had done is crying throughout the story lolol

That last arc truly is an absolute dumpster fire only made worse by the trainwreck that is the ending. Way to ruin an otherwise pretty great series. Felt massively out of character and it honestly felt like it was written by someone who's lacking experience in actual human interaction. It's not even a bittersweet ending (I'm fine with those), it's just that the ending is so stupidly contrived. The anime isn't a masterpiece but for once I'm glad the anime had an original ending (even if the story was unfortunately a lot shorter).
