And not to totally discern Nishimori-san here. We've seen that he's an incredibly nice person, and he just didn't know. There really was no deeper meaning to his comment, and I don't think it reflects his total views on the matter.


so hopefully we can see more of his perspective in the future and see them have a proper conversation about it

I was thinking about it but he wasn't really insulting him here, he just doesn't understand and you can't really blame him too hard for that. As a straight man who doesn't know anything about that world of course he is gonna find it weird and if you stop there, there is nothing wrong with that. It becomes pathetic when you start insulting or making fun of other people's hobbies but just finding it weird because you don't understand it is logical.

Yeah I think if Nishimori were to find out he may think it's a bit of a strange hobby but he wouldn't try and chase him out of the company like what happened to Subaru before. Most people's impressions of crossdressing come from comedy, since serious crossdressing is pretty niche, so it's not surprising that would be the first thing he thought of when the topic came up

But seriously... Nishimori seemed like a nice guy, supportive and quite observant, it's kinda odd for him to have that opinion although sometimes crossplay is made for a gag, generalization of everyone doing it for laugh seems like he isn't well informed.

As always, lack of information can make people prejudiced to what should be a norm.
