I've honestly never really understood the whole "I'm upset that you spend too much time around other people that are of the same gender as me when we're dating" kind of complaint. It just seems baffling to me to want to control who your partner associates with in that way. If you felt they were that weak-willed, that likely to cheat, why are you dating them?

I do appreciate the thought here that it's probably not actually for that reason that she said that and the next step is to try to see if there's something more going on. I do also hope that at some point Subaru is able to better work through his own anxieties about Kasane spending time with men.

I think it's less about actually worrying she'll cheat and more that she isn't able to live with her gf when other women are

Also, Ren-chan is dating a younger girl, as a man who has dated girls between 19-23 years old, I must say you are in constant risk of this kind of scenes, you should be prepared for this (I dated a 22 years old university student who broke with me because I wasn't thinking on living with her, she lives with her mother, brother, his wife and their two kids, she saw me as her escape).

I can understand Ren-chan girlfriend being mad, she is older than her and living together with two other women albeit she said they're straight, she is kinda jealous but also her situation with parents might be the true reason of her wanting to live together. Talk shit through, best advice as always.
