I have no clue why anyone is saying that her girlfriend is a high schooler or cosplaying as one. This is a fairly popular style for young women nowadays and especially considering that she's someone who desperately wants to move to Tokyo, it makes sense she might emulate some of these trends with her own style.

It's true that Akari is pressuring Ren, but only because she can't live with her parents that are opposing her being in relationship with another woman, it must be agonizing and frustrating to live yet another day under same roof.
Then again she does try to move on, will try doing her best in Tokyo and doesn't seem like going to abuse Ren hospitality, probably gonna be more confident after leaving the household that drags her down.

It was inevitable the trio eventually going to split up, Kasane also is in relationship and probably will move out soon, tho' it looks like the short stick will have Nade since now on gonna cover soon 100% of living expenses not 1/3...

There are many points in this story that point to this actually being an inappropriate age gap.

Like, in the dialogue.

Maybe, but so far (at ch41) it's not specified age of Akari, it's just fan speculation and huge straw man fallacy.

We know that Akari is from Tochigi prefecture that has population roughly 150k, tho now since 2020 is more open for LGBTQ+ than when the story takes place.

Ren mentioned (ch36) that Akari has a part-time job and will make sure to split the costs of living, so she can grow without pressure of her family and has no one else to support her emotionally, probably no other friends.

Also, doubt author would use such flawed character that gave moral guidance and reason to move out of easy living conditions 1/3 of all bills to 1/2 or 2+1 if they're gonna have a kid.
