Just finished rereading the rest on another site and it was a very enjoyable read. It really took me back to read it again back to when I would use these types of stories to live vicariously through them. Even though it's no longer necessary (thank you science) I still enjoy coming back and reading this one even if it's not perfect. Though as many have also said it really should have been a Polly relationship ending.

This entire manga would be better if her dad and Asuta was straight up deleted. What's their point?

I honestly do not know if I will keep reading this or not. I really do not like the black-haired girl. I much prefer the blonde girl who was always by his side, but she feels like that kind of character who deserves everything and gets nothing just because she is the childhood friend whose only purpose in the story is to suffer....
I mean, yes, the black-haired girl has that condition she was born with, kind of like that character from The Apothecary Diaries... But she barely seems to care about his feelings at all... The protagonist himself does not even know what he wants to do with his life, and she is already pushing him into dating.. now she shows up to touch her while she is changing bras... then she simply steals a kiss from her... if it were a boy doing this, this story would be canceled
I also hated how the aquarium date got interrupted and turned into all that drama just because the other girl had a fever... the story frames it like she was on the verge of death and somehow it was the protagonist’s fault, even though he did absolutely nothing wrong. It really feels like a completely unfair and hopeless fight for the blonde girl...
Oh, and Asuta is trash, a completely unnecessary and useless character who only serves to be a nuisance and make the story have bad jokes
