nakamura’s fixation on marriage and disinterest in sex and men (as said in the previous chapter) has me wondering if she’s actually just a lesbian (or asexual, or BOTH) w comphet. she only likes the thought of marriage because women are taught to find the “love of their lives” and “get married.” many women limit themselves from experiencing different types of relationships (platonic, romantic, etc.) because they’re so fixated on marriage and finding someone they will date and eventually marry. i hope the future chapters will explore this

Dunno how much they draw (heh) from real life but be interesting if we got a kinda auto bio comic like that Lesbian series and if they have amusing anecdotes from their personal life too, being valid is asexual but i can imagine a handful of ppl being like "i don't care, i just wanna relax/enjoy life" or so (im sure some ppl marry for stability/money/business reasons but other than ceos maybe forcing a daughter into an arranged marriage/create an heir, i can imagine some ppl would wanna be filthy rich to where it wouldn't rly be an issue)
I wonder how many ppl get married just to 'get it over with' or not to be pestered if it's like "divorced once" and middle aged instead of "still single"
Tho be hilarious if someone tried to set a record, married/divorced friends for the bit lol, imagine telling a superior you had 23 ex spouses if they ask you about marriage
