As with almost all of this mangaka's manga, there is a decent story. buildup, characters, story length, however, time and time again he fails with the ending. This one is one of the better ones especially with the two MC's romantic feelings, but, they barely get any alone time. All of his manga's need a damn epilogue or another chapter as it always seems that they end abruptly, again Katsu is definitely better than most of his other manga's when it comes to the ending, but it could have been better.

9/10 - Ending aside, it was great. I recommend you read it.

Uncertain if I prefer Katsu or Rough, but it is a close game nevertheless. Adachi Mitsuru manga can really be great at times, and this is one of them imo.

So tired of people whining about this guy and his endings, it's not a shit ending just because he doesn't force fan service down your unimaginative throat.

Really agree with WestBest. It seems everywhere I see discussion of Adachi's work people always bring up the endings. The endings are intentionally left where they are not for the purpose of the reader imagining the rest of the story, but because the story is over. Adachi's manga are not about the ins and outs of a couple relationship, but about the hurdles they have to overcome in the pursuit of a relationship. While there might be stories to be written about, or further challenges in the relationship that is not the concern of the particular mangas. People always remember the manga that they felt didn't have "satisfying" conclusions, but forget all the manga that run too long and ruin amazing stories.

Never thought people would complain about the ending as it's a pretty decent one from Adachi. To me this manga's problems are that the heroine's unique cool face turned to a generic Adachi moeblob in the middle, the glasses dude aka quite an essential character just evaporated without a goodbye, and the boxing scenes are not many or impressive enough as I did not really feel any heat from it.
Still worth a reading as the character developments are pretty fun and Adachi-like. Also you would love to be baited by Adachi in this manga, like a whole lot of times.

I, for one, did not like the ending that much. I've only read 1 other manga from Adachi(Rough), but both felt rushed near the end. I'm not looking for another ending, but an epilogue would be nice. The mc and fmc's relationship also felt a bit strained near the end, and could have been dealt with better.
