"In this suffocating and closed-off era, it's common sense for everyone to have thought about death at least once!" (Page 7)
Nozomu Itoshiki is that you? She's even talking about society and is dramatic.

The only tag on Mangadex more meaningless than "Psychological" is "Historical"
i haven't read too many 'historical' stuff tho i know it's common for korean manhua since they like the Joseon setting, but there are some good psych horror stories in that tag

This looks cute so far, the cartoony art feels quite fresh compared to a lot of other manga. As someone else pointed out, it reminds me of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei with its talky style.

I can’t find any actual historical works omg we live in a society that buries real history under TRASH
What, are you telling me that isekai comics in fantastical European inspired settings aren't historical enough for you?
Would you prefer an isekai comic in a prehistoric caveman setting instead? :dogkek:

And it PISSES me off, I want to DIE because I can’t find any actual historical works omg we live in a society that buries real history under TRASH

yeah idk how that girl can keep acting like that all the time
guess you'd also have to remove the 'fantasy' tag tho idk how many drama mangas that also are taking place in the past that's super accurate with history versus a very specific time period as opposed to making it an 'alternative history' or so but i imagine maybe there are some books that'd be better versus manga form versus adaptations

I've heard natsume soseki's works was good but i don't think the manga adaptation to some of those were too accurate versus taking some artistic liberties/interpretations of his works

the isekai part of it is what I have issue with

I think there should be an option if you click it to search historical and have an 'x' on like isekai/fantasy to filter them out

tho maybe md will add a 'non fiction' tag at some point tho idk how much of that has happened based on real events (like densha otoko but that's more modern times), or like "biography" making stories about like historical figures

But yeah good luck finding series you like :'D
