Nah, this is just an erotica romance manga thing. A lot of erotica romance mangas tend to rush the first or few chapters since they want the couple to get together immediately, then slow down to build it up and explore their relationship. A prime example would be Sweat and Soap with a very rushed and sussy first chapter, which turned into one of the best adult romance manga of all time immediately after that or few chapters.
