As I understand this this series was made for Jump Rookie which is an online edition of Jump that's for newbie mangakas. It has monthly polls the winner of which is offered serialization. This series got 3rd and 4th place in last years April and May polls respectively and hasn't been updated since.

Oh, and usually the gap between the first place manga and the rest is pretty wide(10x or more).

I'm not sure what to make of the fact that simply seeing the headband with cat ears just by itself made Taiga mentally complete it all on his own with the bikini and tail.

Man, that's quite a small gap it had from being 2nd and 3rd in those polls, but no joke freaking joke with one first being 10x and the other about 4x...
