She is so ridiculously cute and pretty.
On another note, I have never really understood the trope of particularly female characters being truly atrocious at cooking. Like so bad they can't even do the most basic things. Is this actually a problem in Japan or is this simply something used often in manga/anime?
I don't expect everyone to be a 5-star chef; I'm certainly not. But how truly bad some characters are befuddles me. I thought basic cooking skills were, ya know... kinda basic issue. Or at least not that hard to learn. For someone like Megumi especially, I'd expect her to know a few things since she had studied in prior chapters about cooking. She may still fail overall, but she'd at least not F up the basics.... like washing cabbage with dish detergent.

@JagdPanther On the topic of cooking. Well it ain't that people are atrocious at cooking, but many are not proficient in it. Cooking needs a feeling for the ingredients and if you grow up and don't practice it / have no interest since you are sheltered many swing over to convenience food and don't go for the experience to make it themselves. So they never built up confidence and lack in taste testing while cooking. So even boiling some noodle to the point you like em becomes a hurdle of sorts.
That said. Washing with detergent is just a exaggeration to make it humorous. But beside that the right hand grip while slicing with knives - what you may think is a basic - is not know to all. Or just go the other way around you are not interested in cooking shows, you never had a cooking / homeroom subject at school and the only one that was cooking was your mom, but you weren't into it at all when you grow up - and now you are out in the wild living on your own. What is your cooking skill and why would you suddenly improve them (when actual cooking can take quite some time / do you have all equipment needed / all other stuff like spices - and you are getting anxious about it)?
