@gregger agreed, I was thinking the same, especially on Megumi's side. I was almost about to drop it tbh, it was becoming annoying. Tsunderes are cute, and I get that she's shy and that she has no experience. But there is a limit to how far you can go tsundere before it becomes annoying.
They've been going out for a while now, and yet she wasn't showing any sign of attraction towards him. He was the only one asking for dates, telling her she likes her, etc, and every time she'd respond as if it was bothering her. And as soon as a rival shows up she's like "oh well guess he's better off without me", as if she wasn't attached to him. It was painful to watch, especially since the author didn't really show us what was going on in her head so even us readers weren't sure if she actually liked him.
This arc was super painful to read, but at the very least it ended up with Megumi confessing her feelings to him. Hopefully it won't the romance won't be as bad from now on.
