I think Aoki is a character who never causes problems. He's sure of what he's feeling and if Megumi feels off, he gives her space or invites her out to distract herself, and speak like grown-ups. So the fact that he didn't tell her about the mixer seemed to me more like a convenience for drama than something that he would actually do (although we also consider that even if he had told her, megumi would have been super worried ... Because that ALREADY HAPPENED, obviously , it would have been better if he told her, but I also understand why he didn't). On the other hand, it shocks me too much that they come across so many people who love them, men, women, everyone. I would like that the conflicts they have are not all romantic and not external, that they face conflicts as an adult couple, either at work / economic / family / personal / etc. Because this manga has already shown that it deals with super relatable and sometimes realistic conflicts.
