Did you read past the few chapters? He didn’t actually take advantage of her while she was drunk. They took like 90+ chapters to actually consensually get it on.

Perfect ending. Thick.
This was an increadible reading! Got all the manga in two days, didn't suffer through all the 9 years, kinda understand how many people get frustrated with this too, but I really think the whole series closed almost full circle (one chapter only to show their future would be awesome...). Their development was great as well, felt really natural, specially Megumi "blooming" and Shun getting flustered by her teasings, as a light-hearted table turning... Wishing many people read this manga now!

So I've done some background check on the author itself and found out that almost all of his works have a pretty fast ending, I too feel unsatisfied about the ending and the endings of each works he made, but I feel like it's a good ending for a slice of life genre, we might not get to see their daily lives story but we get to see a great and real life experience progress. 
I am happy to know that a manga with 8/10 rating is this good, especially if you are looking on it's positive side.
I am happy to know that a manga with 8/10 rating is this good, especially if you are looking on it's positive side.Really nice, unfortunately, it obviously got axed, no wedding, we don't get to meet her father, or any of his relatives, nor any development on the HR director, nothing more of her cousin aside for a single chapter, sad way to go, there was a lot more that could be done, but at least the author still managed to give us an (imo) enjoyable ending.
