I’ve been tired of Torahime since… pretty much when she was introduced, she was basically the harbinger of the “harem bullshit”. Her character archetype really sucks and it’s frustrating that for whatever reason no one takes her seriously considering she basically exists to try and seduce either partners in an existing relationship. She’s just kinda gross and annoying.

You say that but Yasu keeps playing along with it, he is more harem protagonist than boyfriend, and he knows he can get away with it with less than minimal effort because Moriyama is really desperate

In fairness it’s less malicious intent and more a combination of him being dense and Mori literally telling him it’s okay to flirt with other girls. That said Yasu’s been the only one with any real issue about Torahime since the beginning, Mori just kinda pouts and/or goes along with it

I'd say that Torahime is just slapstick antics, but it just further detracts from the real relationship from going forward

The only GOOD use for a third wheel in a story like this is to push the two leads together, instead they just… get less screen time together to the point the author genuinely may have forgotten they were in the middle of an arc about having their first kiss.

And honestly a Torahime character wouldn’t be the worst thing… in a manga where the central premise WASNT two people who were already in an established relationship.

Reminder authors: Side-ships will beat the fuck out of harem BS every god damn time.

I also like Torahime, although She actually likes Moriyama, the author could come back to this point someday
