This manga is very interesting and captivating. on one hand, this man is incredibly abusive and messed up but the author also made him sympathetic due to the amount of abuse he went through. Airi is also an unfortunate but interesting character because of her past and how she chose to try and get over her trauma by surrounding herself with things she likes and essentially faking it till she makes it. Stories like this are fascinating because through this fiction you can explore all of these emotions and circumstances without actually experiencing them yourself (hopefully)

And I'd do the same thing. Not because of Stockholm Syndrome or anything, but mainly cus I'd be too pussy-shit to scream for help LOL. The guy has the girl chained for fucks sake.
