If you're wondering what's up with the 30s, Japanese schools are mostly there to turn kids into good little conforming citizens. Of course if you want to get into the best universities you gotta get great grades, like 95 to 100, but if you just wanna graduate, 30 or 40 (out of 100!) Is a passing grade and good enough.

Whose scores are left/right? Is left Kanamori (some chapter mentioned she was crap at math, but that's the highest score - and she did give a politics answer in class once, but it was dead wrong as if it wasn't even a politics class at all). Or is right Mizusaki because she's a genius / under huge parental pressure to succeed?

I think the left is Kanamori just because you sometimes see her holding that plain light grey (pastel?) phone. I think she gets (almost) all 30s because that's the most efficient - you study exactly enough to get a passing grade and no more. Or maybe she only bothers doing the 30% of questions that she is 100% sure of the right answers to and doesn't even bother answering the rest because that would be a waste of time. It's the sort of thing only she could do deliberately. 60 on math might be because she wasn't being entirely honest about math or because she's not good enough to know when she has 30% absolutely right so she doubles it just in case, or actually does them all and really gets an honest 60%.


And then of course Mizusaki with the Good Girl scores on the right. Not sure if we've ever seen her phone and I'm not digging through 50 chapters, but this would be my guess!
