I don't see her being someone he can save. The "organization" has already shown it will not hesitate to eliminate any problem(s), by any means necessary. Sure, he can aquire skills easily, but the author has at least kept his aquisitions somewhat realistic, in that he's not an instant expert that can use the skill better then the original skill holder the moment he learns it. He still has to work at it to improve his usage of the skill.
