Damn everything is so "EXAGGERATED"
I don't think the exaggeration is the bad part of it. After all, you got series like One Punch man that takes everything up a notch and makes it ridiculous. But at least it doesn't become too forced because for everything they do there, they have a ridiculously "believable" justification, which keeps it comical. Like, One Punch Man did a bunch of exercises.
But something like this temple that a slave happened to be very knowledgeable of and even knew the exact location, but MC, who had more freedom, didn't even heard about. How, for no apparent reason, he starts unlocking even more of his abilities (just from talking with his slave?). The fact that the temple is open to anyone... It is not compelling enough.
I genuinely want to know if the author spins everything favorably later, even though the start was bad.
