Not sure what you meant by inconsistent.
But I find it cool that the MC have different clothing for different occasions.
There are 3 just in this chapter: sleeping wear, casual outing (jeans and leather jacket), and adventure wear.

It's better than most manga where MC wear the same 1 outfit no matter what they do.

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious whenever he mentions his "broken heart". This matter is laughable in the current stage of affairs. The author never gave it the importance it deserved to build upon the personality of a spiteful/resentful character (based on what we were shown initially anyway). So it's just laughable now.
