wow, they are the textbook example of the cheerful x cool duo.
Given MC still act the same and positive and even their "highschool" , while the other girl clearly still have a feeling for MC, this seem somewhat weird. Like it would feel more natural if the kiss never happen, it remain as one side crush since then.

I get the sneaking suspicion that I'm going to regret picking this title up. . . This is going to be one of those titles where everyone ends up sleeping with everyone with at least 1 NTR involved isn't it?

Like, if it's not treating it as a problem, then, like, what's actually the problem?

Lesbians can sleep with many people just as much as the straights can and we sometimes enjoy stories about that.

Straight people get to have stories about sluts, why is it that when we get them about us it's feeding into stereotypes and a grand social problem?

The problem is that Japanese society views LGBT as an aberration of societal norms and for decades has presented it as such in their media. LGBT characters have traditionally been portrayed in 1 of 3 ways (sometimes a combination of 1 or more). 1) A joke character whose sexuality is nothing more than a punch line for cheap laughs. 2) A character going through a faze that they will grow out of when they get older (very common belief in Japan). 3) A sexual predator who sleeps around and doesn't take no for an answer (which usually leads to SH if not full blown SA). This series has a character that very much looks like she might fall into category 3. If they all start sleeping around, or even hint at it, it opens the door for this character to lean heavily into this very negative trope about homosexuals and bigots will hold it up as an example of why homosexuality in general is wrong. Do they care about the mountain of straight stories with similar themes? No. Because those are "normal". So they will ignore those and latch onto the LGBT ones as examples to reinforce their confirmation bias. This is just how bigotry works.

My personal problem is that I came into this series looking for a light and fluffy yuri manga in the same vein as Ichido dake demo, Koukai Shitemasu. and Onna Tomodachi to Kekkon Shitemita. (the inspiration from both in this series is undeniable) and at first it looked like that was what I was getting. Now they are dangling potential SA in front of me with a character who openly sleeps around, always gets what she wants, has blackmail material, and has her eyes on NTRing, by any means necessary, the other main character. I don't like being bait-and-switched like this. I dropped another yuri manga for doing exactly this and have avoided a few others for doing similar stuff. And, yes, I feel the exact same way when they do stuff like this in straight series too.

Iv what world did this series look like a fluffy yuri manga? The main character was doing something explicitly really weird from the start.

And, frankly, straight society's views about lesbians shouldn't stand in the way of lesbians talking about ourselves and telling stories about ourselves we want to tell. It isn't helpful to respond to stereotypes about lesbian promiscuity by making our fiction about ourself wholy sexless and monogamous when, frankly, it isn't bad that lesbians tend to be more open to fluid relationships than the straights.

Toxic yuri is popular among lesbians for a reason. We don't want fiction written torrified of what the straights might think of us because of it. That's simply exhausting to read. Lesbians are messy and no amount of turning yuri into a clean, sexless monogamy will make the straights like us.

Something here is certainly exhausting to read and I'm not going to read any more after this post. . .

If you seriously can't see why these tired tropes are harmful in a society where the LGBT community are struggling for acceptance as normal human beings then I am not wasting any more time on you. If you can't understand why, popular as SA fantasies may be, there is also a large audience that actually doesn't want every other yuri they read to devolve into SA then I am doubly not wasting any more time on you. The direction this series is going appeals to your personal taste and you won't accept that there are people who want yuri titles that differ from your tastes. That's disturbing. And I do NOT have an issue with sex in yuri manga! I don't even have an issue with them having multiple partners! I don't like SA and this manga features characters that appear to be open to sleeping around, or can be coerced into it, and thus prime targets for the NTR slut who is absolutely not above blackmail and SA to get what she wants! THAT is my issue! And I don't like how often yuri titles, in particular, go this route. Stop making it seem like I'm against sex in yuri manga!

Also. . . How dare you try to marginalize me by insinuating "we lesbians" as if you speak for all lesbians and I'm on the outside looking in. You don't know a damned thing about me and you do NOT speak for all lesbians. Hate to break it to you. And you certainly don't speak for me, a SA victim who went through the entire 00s having to avoid yuri titles because of the SA usually portrayed in them. I had Kashimashi and Stray Little Devil and nothing else until I decided to start looking 4-5 years ago. So, yeah, when I'm looking for a safe yuri title to read and get swerved it really does bother me because it can lead to a full blown panic attack if it's bad enough. I have to be careful about what I read and watch and yuri titles don't make it easy for me, especially when it comes off innocent like this one only to introduce an NTR slut for "drama". Like you care, though, you have your "toxic" yuri titles so you're satisfied, to hell with what anyone else might want.

It's weird how you conflate sleeping around/NTR with SA, here, because those are hardly the same things.

And slut shaming bullshit like this is hardly helpful, either.

You say you don't have a problem with sex in yuri, but you treat sleeping around as some unforgivable thing on the level of SA the depiction of which is apparently responsible for cishet society's bigotry. That's some deeply harmful attitudes about sex which conflates perfectly consensual sex with SA while victim blaming lesbians for our own oppression.

Straights aren't going to treat us better if we go around calling characters we dislike NTR sluts and conflate sleeping around with SA. They don't hate us for being slutty.

Did Knight Heron drop this? We’re way behind the raws and things got real interesting too. It would be nice to be able to read with proper translation
