Woah so many things occurred in this chapter, meeting vampire 0, treating Eva as Noah - a cat - maybe we'll see a talking cat later on who claims to be Eva or something possessed named Eva. Also the ship seems to have hit something and wasn't elaborated on here oh well.

In Dracula, Dracula preys on beautiful women. And then the beautiful women vampires prey on children. But we don't ever see what children vampires prey on.
