I'm not shilling for being a slave, I'm criticizing him for forgetting to free himself just because he got a paycheck. You've been attributing him ignoring the fact that he is a slave because he receives rewards to having a slave mentality. I'm explaining that his real problem is that he can forget that he IS a slave if he isn't one in his mind. In his mind, he's a free man because they treat him well enough and give him as much freedom as he would expect for a child. That's the problem, that he thinks he's free when he's not. It isn't that he has a slave mentality, it's that he doesn't acknowledge the reality of him being a slave because he feels like he's just working a job.

It's kind of strange that the volume cover shows him as a kid, and her wearing the frilled ribbon he only just gave her when he was much older. Back when he was a kid, the ribbon she wore didn't have any frills on it.

he doesn't have a slave mentality, he's being properly compensated and his focus is on that. That's the problem, he's setting aside the fact that he IS a slave just because he doesn't feel like one. If someone has a kill switch on you, never EVER forget that it's there.

Don’t bother responding to him. He’s active on a lot of other series, too, mainly as a hater with constant negativity and murderhobo requests.
