This was a surprisingly pleasant ride & was refreshing when I first discovered it that it was a romance/romantic comedy series focused on adults rather than middle/high school teenagers (I had heard of Love is Hard for Otaku beforehand, but found this series to be more approachable).

I had heard about The World God Only Knows in passing long ago and how that series ended not in the most ideal of ways; it is good to see that the author did learn lessons from that series' ending and applied it to this series. I did feel this series could have gone for 1 more volume's worth of content, but I think this was a good place to stop.

I look forward to your future projects @blueocean & Trying Our Best and your efforts to Try Your Best on those series.

Probably one of the best romcoms o have read so far, i was so fresh about the topic that it cover, the main character are so cute, the story progression felt really smooth, the side characters really help to the story to continue in some of the most relatable ways, i loved the way of draw that it handle, the emotional moments made me cry, the funny ones made me laugh and the wholesome moments warmed my heart.

I read this chapter with "Here Comes The Bride" in the background. Been such an amazing ride. I read this whole thing in about a week but I've grown so attached to these characters. I can kinda relate to Taku at the start so I feel so proud for him to see him grow. Both Rika and Taku grew so much and my heart is so full. This series is mostly wholesome fluff but tackles some serious themes as well. I'm gonna miss this and I hope the anime will do it justice

Pretty generic(in a good way) and straightforward story with no pointless drama. It was nice. A bit fast how she got jealous, how they became a real couple etc but it fits well with my adult life free time. About 8/10
