I mean he just had the bombshell that he has a parasitic organism which killed his parents living in his face, and that is combined with the fact he just almost killed all of the only friends he ever had, his ongoing existential crisis, his constant bad lucky and near injuries, his crippling depression, and the fact he's been de facto thrown out of the human race, literally dehumanization.
