From what i saw in other split chapter manga, some if not most people prefer translator sit on split chapter then release them when its completed, even if the raw are split.
Just be sure inform the readers if you're going to do that, at the very least it'll reduce people complaining on why the manga didn't updated even when the raw already available.

I would genuinely rather just wait until both chapters are available together. It saves you the need to constantly juggle projects, and save me the heartache of... Bifurcated Chapters.
Again, speaking only for myself and my impression of the work. If it guarantees you have more time and better leeway, I can wait for a full chapter.
