It's ironic how the vice-captain admonished the MC for being pretentious in the last chapter, but then proceeded to act the same way in this one. It's a hypocritical trait almost all characters in fighting manga seem to have, they think they are unstoppable and look down on others until they get humbled.

It's also funny he talks about swordplay when all he is doing is speed-blitzing them...
