Hopefully this isn't complete...A story of all time. And it begins now.
I keep notes and yes, this was the first time we got their "last" (family) names. To the best of my memory and my notes, they had each heard the others' friends call them by their given names but had never used each others' names before. They only chatted as friendly strangers. When Hikoichi asked for Nayu's contact info, I was doing a big cheer and pump fist going "Let's go!!" Finally got formal introductions, and I'm wondering if this is the first time we're getting their last names. If that's the case, that's crazy, as last names are normally given at the very beginning, but we have Masuda-sama who manages to make everything peak in this story.
As usual, the facial expressions are golden![]()
Now that you mention this, I remember that while Hikoichi heard her name from a friend of her, Nayu learned his name thanks to his ID card he forgot on the train seat. Shouldn't she already know his last name? I wanted to check that scene again but couldn't remember which chapter it was.I keep notes and yes, this was the first time we got their "last" (family) names. I do think you are correct on that point. Now that you mention this, I remember that while Hikoichi heard her name from a friend of her, Nayu learned his name thanks to his ID card he forgot on the train seat.
